The 2008 model year will be the last for the Jaguar S-Type. Its replacement, the sharper-edged, more contemporary-looking XF, has arrived. So if the rounded, retro lines of the S-Type have oozed
My s type has been a little rough on idle recently, but this morning it would not start. I have one of those elm code readers but there is no faults. It turns over fine but will not start. Well strictly not true, it starts some times, feels really rough, rocks, then dies. It is almost as if it is starved of fuel or air.
Our long-term Jaguar XE diesel is a textbook case of both issues. The first issue becomes apparent from the moment the 2.0-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder fires up with all the clattering, tapping

I had Turbocharger fault code P132B and this turned out to be a faulty actuator on Turbo boost control A which was on the driver's side. If you can get the car on a ramp and
The diesel S-TYPE automatic maybe economical but it is no slouch either, Jaguar quotes a 0-62 mph of 8.2 seconds, with a terminal speed of 141 mph - which feels about right. Our test car was fitted with Jaguar’s famous ‘J Gate’ 6-speed automatic transmission with sports mode and manual selection.
